BRP will host the 15th edition of the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals (RMCGF) at Kartódromo Internacional Lucas Guerrero’s brand-new facility in Chiva, 30 kilometres outside Valencia, from November 25 to 29, 2014. Click here to see a video introducing the big race.
The Rotax MAX Challenge (RMC) is a professional kart racing series established, owned and organized by BRP and its Rotax kart engine distributors. Approved by and in compliance with CIK / FIA, the RMC is a "one-make-engine" formula: only Rotax kart engines that are checked and sealed (for equal performance) are allowed. The success in the competition is mainly up to the skills of the driver.
Throughout the year, 15,000 racers competed in their country’s Rotax MAX Challenge series to secure their spot at the Grand Finals, but only the 288 most talented drivers were selected to participate in this prestigious event. Aged between 13 and 52, and coming from 58 countries, the racers compete in four different categories. For many of them, the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals is considered a true springboard for their professional career in motor sports. They will meet on the circuit over this five-day competition and they promise to deliver thrilling performances.
“Year after year, pilots push the boundaries of the sport a little further. We can’t wait to see how this 15th edition of the RMCGF will turn out!” said Helmut Voglsam, supervisor, Rotax kart
engines, BRP. “Our Spanish distributor, Korridas e Kompanhia, and the race track team have worked very hard over the past few months to put on a good show. Come and join us for a great race!”
No tickets are needed to attend the event and the stands will be open to the public between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day starting Tuesday November 25. The Finals are scheduled to start around 1:30 p.m. on Saturday November 29.
